Following on from the Genesis AI family, Starkey has released the Edge AI Hearing Aids. (Released in the UK private market, Late 2024) We are happy to be able to offer this innovative hearing technology to our suitable clients.

We like: 

1.) The waterproof feature.

2.) The longer battery life at 51hrs for Edge AI RIC RT. This is currently the longest rechargeable battery life in the industry. 

3.) That the Edge AI doesn't use traditional digital signal processing DSP but deep neural network ( DNN) processing. This AI processing has now been placed right in the audio path with no compromise on battery life.

To continue from above we particularly like that this battery life is not heavily drained by use of the DNN Technology in challenging listening environments. 

3.) The newly added balance assessment feature is especially great for our patients yet to identify if they are at risk of falls. It also provides a set of exercises to do! This is time=saving and stops one going from one app to another to look for suitable balance exercises to incorporate into one's routine.
