Oticon Reveal

Oticon's Reveal comes with hearing technology built to support the brain, the world's 1st dual AI system, 4D sensor technology and  30% faster feedback prevention. It aims to reveal richer moments of sounds around us. Giving the brain more context so that speech doesn't always stand alone. It claims to offer the best speech clarity and better access to contextual sounds. This way, the brain benefits from selective attention, what our brain is meant to do, bringing us a step closer to natural hearing.

The Oticon Approach

Follows the understanding that we as human beings do not have speech in isolation all the time. We have speech in restaurants, at home, at work, in the kitchen and so on. Recollection and understanding of speech along with the context (environment) it was given in, enriches the entire listening experience. Oticon Reveal is built upon the BrainHearing™ philosophy similar to it's predecessor, Oticon Intent. 

There are two dedicated AI features working together as one in real time to provide a richer, more complete world of sound in any situation. Speech AI and Context AI.  Speech AI provides the best speech clarity, and Context AI provides the best access to contextual sounds. Speech AI analyses input and enhances speech; Context AI preserves context while suppressing background noise. 

 Oticon Reveal supports the brain's natural way of making sense of sound, helping users experience a richer, more complete listening environment.

Technology Levels

There are four technology levels. Level 1 to level 4. The highest tier of technology has 24 adjustment bands. These adjustment bands go down as the technology level goes down; additional features are reduced so that the lowest technology band has fewer features than the top level. Whatever level of technology you choose, it will be the job of the audiologist to fine-tune the hearing aid as best as possible for you. 

The Fitting Range

Oticon Reveal covers the mild to profound levels of loss, with custom moulds considered for profound levels of hearing loss.

Rechargeability

There is no battery door to contend with, as the hearing aids are rechargeable. Lasting 24hrs on a single charge. 20hrs with streaming and a 15mins charge giving 15mins usage. There is the option for a Desktop charger (no lid) and a smart charger, which has a lid and a power bank. 

Wireless connectivity and Streaming

The Oticon Reveal gives 32% range of transmission ( better with Android). As Apple iPhones currently do not use LE Audio BT.. Distance range is better with Android phones. 

The double-tap feature on the Oticon Reveal hearing aid is available to connect to phone calls or disconnect from calls or streaming audio. The LE adapter opens up connectivity for Auracast and telecoil within the Reveal range. There is a new streaming comfort feature. With 13.5dB noise attenuation, which keeps streamed sound more comfortable.

Oticon CROS RE Hearing Aid (Contralateral Routing of Sound) RE

Oticon Reveal comes with CROS RE for unilateral losses or single sided deafness. It's dual AI tech provides access to speech and contextual sounds, has a twin link, is rechargeable and backward compatible with Oticon Intent. The CROS transmitter requires a different battery charger. So a typical binaural setup will require 2 chargers!

Accessories

The remote microphone -Edumic, the Connect clip and LE adapter are compatible with Oticon Reveal

At Sonant Hearing

Amongst the improved features, we like the wax filter replacement reminders (if set up with voice alert, this comes with instructions in the companion app).

 We also liked how cortical auditory evoked potentials (CAEP) were used to measure speech clarity. In this paper, they showed that cortical responses were 7 times stronger when the speech-in-noise clarifier was on compared to when it was switched off. The same report also showed a 60% stronger brain response with Reveal compared to Intent.  (Zapata, Undurraga & Faulkner, 2026).
