The Lead Audiologist - Kechi Oribabor graduated from King's College University of London with a BSc Hons. in Physiology & Pharmacology in 2005. She went on to complete her Post Graduate Qualification in Audiology in 2008. Following that she completed a Master's in Business Administration in 2011.

Why Audiology?

She had always had a desire to help people. She initially wanting to study medicine , but also wanted to study IT. The practice of Audiology appeared to offer the best of both worlds. A world where one could combine helping people by assessing, diagnosing and managing people's hearing concerns while using technology.

Since then she has worked as a Senior Audiologist at a number of NHS Trusts in Adult and Paediatric Specialties. They include; Barnet & Chase, Lewisham, Maidstone & Tunbridge Wells, RNTNE Grays Inn Road, Kings Cross and Kent Community Foundation Trust. Privately she has worked with a number of Private services from Cromwell Road, Knightsbridge, London to Audiology High Street services in Kent.

As a Regional Coach and Trainer she was responsible for coaching, training and assessing over 30 audiologists across the Kent and South East regions. Her role being to ensure that Clinical excellence was maintained and Best practices in audiology adhered to.

She is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Hearing Aid Dispenser. As a Clinical Audiologist she is registered with the Registration Council for Clinical Physiologists (RCCP) now merged with the Academy for Healthcare Sciences (AHCS)

She likes to cook, bake, practice drawing life portraits, play the piano, and spend time with her family experiencing new adventures!
