Standard Otoscopic Ear examination - Free

Initial Consultation (Advice) & Video Otoscopy - £25

Screening Hearing Test - Only air-conduction thresholds tested - £25

Full Hearing Test - Air-conduction and bone conduction tested with masking if applicable - £60*

Tympanometry/ Middle Ear Pressure Test - £30*

Speech audiometry - £60*

Comprehensive Hearing Assessment - Full Medical History + Video Otoscopy + Full Hearing Test + Tympanometry + Speech Audiometry = £175*

Tinnitus Assessment - £120*

Tinnitus Relief Therapy Session - £99

Hearing Aid Assessment - Full Medical History + Video Otoscopy + Full Hearing Test + Tympanometry + Speech Audiometry and Lifestyle Assessment = £175

Reports incur an additional £20 for administrative costs*

Aural Care (Ear Wax Removal)

Microsuction - £60 for 1 or both ears. With free 2nd attempt if required.

Children's Ear Wax Removal (2yrs - 16yrs) - £99

Hearing Aids

Hearing Aid Provision and Fitting - Aids cost from £999 - £3500. Does not include Aftercare & Warranty Service Fees. (Please see Hearing Aid Aftercare Service Package)

Hearing Aid Repair - From £99 (this is an estimate, depends on manufacturer quote and level of damage)

Hearing Aids Reprogramming with one 30min Follow up visit - (non-NHS Aids only under 5 years old) - £150

Real Ear Measurements of Hearing Aids - £200

Hearing Aid Clean and Check - Domes, filters, tubing retention locks replaced, microphones, cleaned, aids dried. - £50 for 1 or £60 for both aid

Bluetooth or Hearing Aid App Assistance - £40

Loan Devices - £99 for one, £150 for both. (Hearing aid devices to be used whilst old aids are sent away)

Receiver replacement - £30 each

Mobile Call outs -From £99

*Charges are applied to hearing aids which are outside of service plan &/or warranty period. If within a Warranty or Service Plan period these charges are waivered. Repairs, service and loan aid services are waivered if purchase is within a service plan with Sonant Hearing.

Hearing Aid Aftercare Service Packages

Top Level Plan - 5 year manufacturer warranty, Free aftercare service and reviews for the lifetime of the devices, 1 free micro-suction session per year over 5 years - £599.

Middle Level Plan - 4 year manufacturer warranty, Free aftercare service and reviews for 4 years, 1 Half price (50%) micro-suction session per year over 4 years - £499

Standard Level Plan - 2 year manufacturer warranty, Free aftercare service and reviews for 2 years -£299

Basic Level Plan - Standard care for ALL Hearing aid purchases. 1 year manufacturer warranty, aftercare and service appointments for 1 year. (£0)

These plans are to be considered in addition to Hearing aid purchase prices.

Hearing Aid Review Consultations

6 month Review - Ear examination, Hearing Aid Check and servicing of microphones, filters, tubing and domes. (£50)

Annual Review - Full Hearing Test, Ear examination, Medical history re-check, Hearing aid check and servicing of microphones, filters, tubing and domes. With re-programming of aids according to latest hearing thresholds. (£99)

Plan is for Clients whom have previously purchased their current aids from Sonant Hearing but are outside service plan period (Pay as you go). Please check Hearing aids under clean and check prices if not from Sonant Hearing.
