What is Tinnisoothe

Tinnisoothe is a British designed sound therapy medical device aimed at delivering sound therapy for the management of tinnitus. It is not worn around the ears, but clipped onto one's clothing or worn around the neck, lanyard style. 

TinniSoothe offers a sound therapy solution that frees your ears, requiring no headphones or earplugs. Providing the relaxing distraction of white noise in a non-invasive format. 

It could be beneficial for those seeking a means to distract themselves from their tinnitus,  with or without hearing aids. It can also be worn alongside one's hearing aids or cochlea implant. The device can be controlled for volume and pitch by the user. No wi-fi or bluetooth is required to set it up.

— Tinnitus is typically the perception of any sound in the head or ear(s) without an external source. It is a symptom of a disorder of the auditory system, not a disease itself, and it is often heard only by the individual. Most people suffer from tinnitus ; nearly 10 out of 100 adults experience it. Tinnitus has a higher prevalence in the elderly and those with hearing loss. 

— Tinnitus can have multiple forms; it isn't always the classic ringing, but can be a hiss, screech, drone, whine, or a buzz. Tinnisoothe is a sound therapy device aimed at reducing the perception of tinnitus over time - encouraging habituation.

— TinniSoothe was designed by another tinnitus sufferer Howard Presland. 

— Using his personal experience, Howard designed a wearable device that delivers effective sound therapy without placing anything in or around the ears. TinniSoothe is entirely British-made, with production based in Oxford and Windsor.
